Can't beat the Pepperoni Green Chile pizza or the Italian Sub. Must have when in the ABQ!

Great place to eat. Good a Greek salad and Napoli pizza. The pizza was a little greasy but overall was good. I will be going back to make sure it wasn't just me.

I have since been to this Dions several times and it seems like they have worked out the kinks. Thank you to the person that replied to my cheese bread issue. Never took her up on the offer but at least it shows they care about service. I like going here at least once a month and they haven't let me down.

How do I love thee Dion's? Let me count the ways... 1) The pizzas, oh my lord, the pizzas! I'm partial to the Special myself, my boyfriend prefers his with just pepperoni, and my 10 year old likes pepperoni, black olives and pineapple. Whole, or by the slice, no matter how you like your pizza, Dion's has you covered. They even have a few specialty pizzas (not to be confused with the Special) for those with more sophisticated tastes. 2) The sandwiches! Mmmmmmm, sandwiches.... Delicious pastrami, yummy ham, tasty turkey, roast beef, meatball, and veggie subs, all on bread baked fresh daily (by the Dion's Commissary, but more on that in a minute). Served in 6", and 10" sizes, with your choice of chips, a fruit cup, or their very own kool slaw. Even better is the easy to understand, and totally reasonable pricing for said sandwiches. No matter which side or sandwich you choose, all 6"'s are the same price, and all 10"'s also have their own (slightly higher, of course) price. 3) And who could forget the salads? Fresh lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and mix (diced cucumber, bell pepper, and red onion pieces all mixed together), served in the 1/2, full, family, and ginormous party sizes, these salads come in a variety of different permutations. Ranging from the simplest tossed salad (aka vegetarian as there is no meat or cheese on it), to the more standard ranch (pastrami and shredded provolone), turkey (same as the ranch but with turkey instead of pastrami), and chef (ham, cheddar, and topped with a hard boiled egg slice) salads, to the slightly more refined Greek salad (black olives and feta cheese), just like their pizzas, and sandwiches, their salads have a little something for everyone. 4) The fact that ALL of their meats, cheeses, bread, sauce, and veggies are delivered fresh every morning from their very own commissary. The only thing that doesn't come from their commissary is the (pizza) dough, and that's because every store makes their own dough fresh every day. 5) They're a local, home grown business to whom customer service is of the utmost importance. Are they perfect? No. It's a business run by humans, mistakes happen. But any time I've ever had a problem (and I could probably count the number of problems I've had on one hand), when that issue was brought to their attention, they went above and beyond to make it right. So, if I love Dion's so much, why only 4 stars, instead of 5? This is a new location, and as such it seems they're experiencing some not atypical growing pains. On the occasions we've eaten here since they opened we've had a few minor issues, but nothing I don't expect they'll get over as those who work here get used to the new place. Overall, my love for Dion's has not wavered, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a fresh, delicious, family friendly, pizza/salad/sandwich joint.

Not sure when it officially opened, but we came this week. We ordered our pizza in advance and we arrived to pick it up. Typically, I dread dions pickup, but the wife went through drive up anyway. They have a guy outside who gets your order so, when you get to the window it's ready to go. Pizza - fantastic - it's dions what do you expect!!!!

Dions knows how to do pizza. I came to the new location and they're just the same as the others. They employ kids who need jobs and I think that it's great for them. I really enjoy getting the sandwiches, the gourmet pizzas, the greek salad is always my favorite, if not pairing it with something else, I'll get the Ranch salad for some added protein. And I have to take a bottle of the greek dressing home. This location is not different and is great to have a Dion's closer to home.

WATCH OUT...for the random hairs in your food This is the 2nd time I've ordered food from this location. The first time we ordered a pie, there was a PATCH *not a strand* of hair on the green chile. We called the store, and let them know what happened. I know I know, I get it. It's new, "its busy, blah blah", but first impressions are supposed to be the best. Today: I figured "eh, I would give it another shot". I assumed that the store has gotten things under control since the newness has worn off. NOPE, I was wrong. I ordered a sub since the pizza had me traumatized. The order was totally wrong,(I ordered ham and swiss, and ended up with a Bell pepper, mushroom & Olives sandwich (I'm allergic to mushrooms, and there was NO meat, or cheese between my bread). Oh, and guess what??? There was a hair in my container of ranch. REALLY?? Last time I checked, my hair was NOT blonde. I just have two words for this location: HAIR NETS Fool me once: Shame on You. 2nd time: Shame on Me

Much better tonight! Ordered online from my phone during my son's baseball practice. I have to say, the online ordering process is seamless. You can tell they took the customer experience as a huge priority when developing that system. Food was ready when I got there. Car Line was wrapped around the building (as per usual) but it went super fast. When I got to the window, the young man knew my name, repeated my order, handed me my bags, complimented my dog (he always rides shotgun) and told me to have a fabulous night. That exchange happened in less than 60 seconds and I drove away feeling happy and very impressed! My ONLY suggestion is that they get a new pizza cutter. We had a hard time separating the slices tonight. Thank you, Dions for an easy Wednesday night dinner!

This is an excellent Dion's Pizza. I've been here twice, but have been to other Dion's Pizzas several times. They make wonderful pizza! If you happen to be in the Southern and Unser area of Rio Rancho and are looking for pizza, I highly recommend this place!

I am happy to say it is a Dion's, just like every other Dion's. You order at the counter, they call your name to come pick up your food in a fairly reasonable amount of time, it is hot, fresh and tasty. It may not be the best pizza I have ever had, but it is in the top ten. The Greek salad is really good. They have a killer roast beef sub. Reasonably fast, good prices, tasty food - what more could you want?
